Dil Hai Hindustani, DHH, Star Plus, Frames Productions

TV show Dil Hai Hindustani that we contributed to last year has become the most popular singing reality in India.

It premiered on Star Plus channel four weeks ago with the record rating of 3.2 TVR, beating the closest competitor Indian Idol by more than one point.

What makes DHH truly unique is its approach to selecting participants. Frames Production, the company behind the show, has decided to search for singers in love with Indian music all over the world. "Soar Productions" has been looking for talent in RussiaUkraine and Uzbekistan and organized auditions in Moscow and Tashkent.

Of 10,000 singers who have come to open auditions, 130 made it to the semi-final. Eleven of them come from the post-Soviet space. 

Star Plus broadcasts the show every Saturday and Sunday. Take a look at Luciya Chebotina, who was auditioned in Moscow, performing. The video has gathered over 1 million views.
