FIFA 2018 stadiums will be ready for hosting the World Cup on time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“As for the stadiums, let me assure you that we will do our job on time and to a good quality. Construction works run on schedule”, Vladimir Putin said.
He added that the delays in construction of stadiums in St. Petersburg, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod are temporary.
A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 stadiums located in 11 cities. The final will take place at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
