Guests and volunteers of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2017 Confederations Cup will use Moscow public transport for free to get to the tournament's venues.

The government adopted the legislation allowing free the public transport pass earlier this week. FIFA guests and participants of the tournaments will be able to use buses, trams, subway and the Moscow Central Circle - recently opened speed railway ring linking the city's non-central areas.

The e-pass, allowing to ride for free on match days, will be embeded in a Fan-ID card, handed out to every ticket holder.

Moscow's two stadiums will host about a dozen FIFA 2018 matches, including the opening and the final. This summer, Moscow will also host the Confederations Cup, considered a rehearsal for the main tournament.
