Nizhny Novgorod is the fifth biggest city in Russia and one of its little known gems.

The city was founded in XIII century and became a powerful fortress of the Moscow Dutchy. In the 16th century, the people of Nizhny Novgorod formed a militia to free Moscow from Polish invaders.

Populated by almost 1.3 million people, the city is an industrial and cultural center of the Volga region. Its 600-year-old Kremlin is one of the oldest forts in Russia and an architectural masterpiece.

A new stadium with over 45,000 seats is being built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It will host 6 matches, including a quarterfinal.

Nizhny Novgorod is available through a 4-hour comfortable train ride from Moscow. Contact us if you want to know more about any aspect of producing TV, documentary or commercial content in the city.
